What It Is: Self-Supporting Structure in Nibav Home Elevators
The term "self-supporting structure" means that the home elevator will be built to carry its own weight without using any of the existing support in the house (walls, beams, columns) to act as a structure to support the home elevator. At Nibav, we have six different types of home elevators, all of which are manufactured using a self-supporting structural design; therefore, all models can be installed in both new and existing homes.

- Existing Homes & Renovation ProjectsIf adding a conventional elevator feels structurally impossible, any Nibav model can be retrofitted without civil reconstruction.
- Duplexes, Villas & Multi-Storey HomesFor homes planning future accessibility, Series IV, V, and V Max provide higher load capacity and premium comfort.
- Design-Conscious HomeownersThe transparent, panoramic structure makes the elevator a visual centrepiece, not a hidden utility.

Technical Details (How It Works)
- Structural FrameworkThe elevator uses a prefabricated, self-contained structural frame designed for residential use.
- Load & SupportAll load cabin, passengers, and movement forces is supported by the elevator itself, not the building.
- No Pit or Machine RoomThe design of the elevator is fully self-supporting and does not require a machine room or pit space under the hoistway.
- Integrated SafetyThe safety components of the elevator are an integrated part of the elevator, so they have a uniform level of safety performance to all elevations within the elevator system.
